What are you thinking? I'm thinking about a yoga-co-op...

Are you a yoga instructor? Are you a student of yoga? Are you looking for a peace of space to practice?

Brainstorm this...a yoga co-op, a yoga cooperative, a place for teachers and students to come together and exchange services and goods. A potential to create a space and a community that practices and lives yoga together.

First, what is a co-op? Standard definition states that a co-op is a democratically controlled business organized to meet the mutual needs of members.

I'm still in the process of learning more about the business structure of a co-op, but my thoughts are this;

  • Perhaps there are other people out there, in this local area, that are interested in opening a yoga studio and/or finding a place to practice yoga that is truely affordable and potentially free.

  • Individually one might not have all the needed resources to open, run, manage, a studio for yoga.

  • Perhaps if we come together, we could collectively create a a space to live yoga, practice, and commune.

  • Maybe a yoga co-op is just what we need to shift our awareness to a higher vibration, in terms of running a business and sharing yoga with all.

  • Is the current standard for a yoga business not allowing for true realization?

Please, think about this...let's brainstorm together! Please e-mail me with your thoughts!
