A cooperative can also be defined as a democratically controlled business organized to meet to mutual needs of member.

Provides various options for involvement: for example, interested parties could pay for a drop-in class, purchase memberships (which affords for lower cost classes, etc.), or work-trade.
In addition to yoga the co-op could also be a wellness center offering things such as Natural Medicines, Natural/organic soaps, lotions&cleaning products, Massage Therapy, Wholefoods&Nutrition...etc.
The space would also be a place to hold/host workshops and other educational-enrichment programs.
